Text Message Reminders

The surgery offers the facility to send you a text reminder about any booked appointments you have made. The text messages are normally sent out the day before your appointment so if you book your appointment at short notice your wont receive a message.

The text service is also used to remind patients of up and coming events such as FLU CLINIC, Holiday Closure Times and New Service Provided by Practice .

All Patients are automatically signed up to this service. if you do no wish to participate please inform reception and your name will be removed form the text service.

PLEASE NOTE: All text services are done direct through the surgery. No information is passed to a third party company.

The surgery also has a text service for one to one communications to patients to be used for such things as “your results are in please make an appointment” or we have left your prescription at the pharmacy”.  Again if you do not wish to receive communication by this method then please let the surgery know.
